VAiFF presents “That’s a Wrap?” a submission in our International category. By day, Shen works a regular office job. By night, he moves from set to set as an actor, slipping between roles and borrowed lives.

On a film set where reality and performance blur, he finds it harder and harder to separate himself from the characters he plays. Through conversations with Cheng, an ambitious young actress chasing her dreams, Shen begins to realize that what he truly longs for is freedom.

When Cheng leaves for New York to pursue a new opportunity, Shen is left alone on set, forced to confront the life he has chosen — and the one he has never dared to claim. As the final call of “That’s a wrap” echoes, he stands at the center, unsure whether it’s the end of a film… or the beginning of his own story.
